Valentine's Day

Our weekend in Cedar Falls was fun despite the fact that Anna got sick on Sunday and we left early. We had tons of fun with Grandma Susie, Grandpa Jay and Bridget. We ate great food and had lots of laughs. My weekend wasn't ruined despite the fact that I had to look at Blanca's old ugly face.

Here's what he's been up to in California

We've been real busy

While Donald's been in California, and taunting us with text pictures of the beach (and Michael Phelps- who I'm convinced has a restraining order against him at this point) we've had a quiet weekend. Thanks to Mom and Dad for babysitting on Friday so I could go out with some friends. We had a nice visit with them the rest of the weekend. Today has been exceedingly boring, but we did make the Oreo cookie molds. The girls have been watching the Glee dvd (thanks, Libby). After swim practice this evening our long weekend will be over :(

Back to the grind

This week finds us back to work and school. I was sad to see the girls go back after winter break but it was time to get back to a regular schedule. We were letting them stay up way too late and all three of us were sleeping in. We started 2010 with Donald backing my car into a dumpster and the back window completely breaking out. I hope that isn't a sign of how the rest of the year is going to go. Here's the proof. Nice dirty car too
